It features more than 25 local artisans, crafters, and musicians that demonstrate their talents each weekend from May through October. Local authors do book signings and have books for sale all summer long.

It’s almost time for the return of the Salem Fair - the largest fair in Virginia and a beloved annual summer tradition in Virginia’s Blue Ridge! The fair has been recognized as one of the top 100 fairs and expositions in the country.
The 2022 Salem Fair takes place June 29 through July 10 at the Salem Civic Center, offering two weeks of fun and entertainment.
Visit Virginia’s Blue Ridge, the County of Botetourt and the City of Roanoke are thrilled to be the host communities for this national cycling championship. A Road Race is a cycling race where participants start as a group at the same time and cover the same distance. Fans are encouraged to join us to catch the action live and cheer on the athletes at the start finish line of the 2022 USA Cycling Road Amateur National Championships.
