Make our centrally located Down by the River Campground your home away from home as you enjoy the outstanding attractions and breathtaking scenes found in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Our unique campground is located on the Linville River just minutes from Grandfather Mountain and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our campers love our spacious, level, landscaped sites. All sites are full hookup with firepits and many are pull through.
The campground roads are paved as well as all patio sites so don’t forget your bikes. Pets enjoy the pet park and large grassy field. Bring your fishing gear and hook a mountain trout or just sit and relax in front of our outside fireplace.
We can accommodate groups, large rigs, and tents. Our large activity center is complete with a pool table, multigame table for children and we offer daily activities including cards, games, dance classes, horseshoes and more.
