Organizations, attractions, and businesses who serve visitors in the Blue Ridge Parkway, Shenandoah, and Great Smoky Mountains regions are a great fit for Blue Ridge Parkway Association (BRPA) membership. If you are located in this region, our publicity will help attract visitors to your site.

How the Association Works

Not affiliated with any government agency and strictly non-political, BRPA is administered by a Board of Directors elected by the membership at the Annual Meeting who serve without remuneration.

The Blue Ridge Parkway Association is financed by membership dues and by additional promotional opportunities available to members both in print and online. Revenues are put to work promoting the Blue Ridge Parkway and BRPA’s member businesses, organizations, and communities, as well as in the administration of the organization.

BRPA Membership Levels

Organization Membership – $450

Chambers of commerce, travel organizations, convention and visitors bureaus, merchant associations, or government agencies and other such groups that are financed by membership dues from among business firms and individuals directly or indirectly engaged in the travel business.

Organizations receive 4 free listing lines in the print Blue Ridge Parkway Travel Planner, and 50 words and a photo on www.blueridgeparkway.org and the Blue Ridge Parkway – Travel Planner Mobile App.

Attraction Membership – $450

Travel attractions or any commercial enterprise financed primarily through admission fees.

Attractions receive 3 free listing lines in the print Blue Ridge Parkway Travel Planner, and 50 words and a photo on www.blueridgeparkway.org and the Blue Ridge Parkway – Travel Planner Mobile App.

Business Membership

Lodging properties, restaurants, craft and antique shops, shopping malls, theaters and other recreational businesses of interest or necessary for tourists.

Businesses receive 3 free listing lines in the print Blue Ridge Parkway Travel Planner, and 50 words and a photo on www.blueridgeparkway.org and the Blue Ridge Parkway – Travel Planner Mobile App.

• Large Business – $390
  Businesses that have $150,000 or more in annual sales
• Small Business – $320
  Businesses that have less than $150,000 in annual sales

Associate Membership – $290

Businesses or organizations that serve the travel and tourism industry, such as consultants, banks, printers, or advertising firms. Associate members help support BRPA while connecting with other BRPA members.

Associate members are not listed in the print Blue Ridge Parkway Travel Planner, on www.blueridgeparkway.org, or on the Blue Ridge Parkway – Travel Planner Mobile App.

Individual Membership – $40

Any individual who has a personal interest in the Parkway and supports the purpose of the Association, but has no direct business interest. Individual members help support BRPA while connecting with other BRPA members.
